Local attractions include Prague's oldest market, founded in 1232, just outside the Residence; Wenceslas Square and Old Town Square a short walk away. During the Christmas and Easter periods you can visit the traditional market stalls in Stare Mesto and Mala Strana where you will also find the statue of Jan Hus and areas showing centuries of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque influences.
